When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect ~Aldo Leopold
My name is Lisa Schuller and I am thrilled to have you here.
I am a passionate, lifelong gardener.

15 years of living in New Zealand instilled a love of cottage style gardens. I find joy creating gardens where I am able to meander and create a 'posy' of flowers for myself, a neighbor or friend. I still smile with the memory of my young children doing the same, creating their own 'posy', as they wandered the paths of the garden.
After leaving a stressful corporate career, I fully immersed myself in the world of cut flower growing. Day by day, month by month and year by year, I felt myself healing and recovering with my hands in the soil. Tranquility and calmness returned.

'TRANQUILITY' a deep, peaceful stillness: a state of profound quietude.

The idea for Tranquility Blooms percolated in my mind and eventually came to fruition.

I truly believe that small farms like ours can make a significant positive impact on our planet. When given the chance, nature can heal from the wounds inflicted by humans. I look forward to helping others heal their environments, internally and externally, one heart, one backyard at a time.

At Tranquility Blooms, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, from the way we start our seeds using soil blocking to our innovative floral design techniques that eliminate the need for unsustainable floral foam.
This journey ignited my passion for sharing and teaching, whether about growing flowers, soil health, seed starting or creating beautiful arrangements.

I look forward to welcoming you to our lovely urban oasis, where together we can celebrate the beauty of nature and its incredible ability to heal.

~ Lisa
